Support. Respect. Empowerment.
The safety, wellbeing and dignity of every participant is our highest responsibility. We operate under a robust safeguarding framework aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Bravo Quality Care has an absolute zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect, exploitation, violence, unlawful discrimination and any other form of harm toward participants. All staff are bound by this policy.
Safeguarding is embedded into every aspect of how we recruit, train, supervise and operate.
Every Bravo Quality Care team member holds a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and national police check before commencing any support role.
We have a strict zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation, violence and discrimination against participants.
All staff complete mandatory training in safeguarding, abuse prevention, first aid, participant rights, and person-centred active support before they commence.
All support workers receive regular supervision, performance check-ins, and training refreshers to maintain the highest standards of safe practice.
All incidents — including near-misses — are documented, reported and reviewed. Reportable incidents are notified to the NDIS Commission within required timeframes.
All safeguarding processes are handled with strict confidentiality. Participants and their representatives are kept informed at every step.
All incidents are taken seriously and managed through a structured, compliant process in line with NDIS Commission requirements.
Safety of the participant is the first priority. Emergency services are contacted if required. The participant is supported and their wellbeing is ensured.
The incident is documented thoroughly, including what happened, when, who was involved, and what immediate action was taken.
Reportable incidents are notified to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission within 24 hours (priority incidents) or 5 business days (other reportable incidents).
All incidents undergo a formal root-cause analysis. Learnings are used to update procedures, retrain staff, and prevent recurrence.
