Support. Respect. Empowerment.
Bravo Quality Care is committed to upholding the rights of every person we support. These rights are protected under the NDIS Act, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and Australian human rights legislation.
These rights apply to every person we support — every shift, every interaction, every day.
You have the right to be treated with respect, dignity and courtesy at all times. Your identity, culture, and personal values are always honoured.
You have the right to make decisions about the supports you receive — including who provides them, when and how they are delivered.
You have the right to be free from abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence. All staff are screened, trained and bound by strict codes of conduct.
You have the right to speak up, provide feedback and raise concerns at any time — without fear of negative consequences to your support.
You have the right to have your personal information collected, stored and used lawfully and only for purposes you've consented to.
You have the right to receive services that are responsive to your cultural background, language, faith, and lived experience.
You have the right to receive clear, honest information about your supports, service agreements, costs and how decisions affecting you are made.
You have the right to access supports regardless of your background, disability type, age, gender, sexuality or any other attribute.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and the NDIS Code of Conduct set out clear expectations for how providers must treat participants. Bravo Quality Care is committed to meeting and exceeding every one of these standards.
If you feel your rights have not been respected, you have several options available to you:
You have the right to have a support person, family member, carer or independent advocate present at any meeting or support interaction.
